Pricing and FeesDo you accept my insurance?
Unfortunately we are currently a private pay only company. How much are your services? Because our services depend on your location, the time commitment you require, and the level of care and companionship needed, we would need to speak with you briefly for the most accurate price. We offer discounted prices for multiple patients and elongated hours. Tell us your situation, and we'll come up with a plan together. This whole thing is sort of new to me and I'm not sure how many hours I need. Are your hours adjustable/flexible? Many of our patients and their families have never worked with a caregiver before. You may start off thinking that you only need 15 hours a week, only to find that 24 hour care is the best decision for your loved one. We understand this and will work with your schedule. We do, however, have to give our employees notice, and adjust our schedules to make sure all of our clients are equally cared for. There is a $50 fee for cancellations and requests for services with less than 24 hour notice. Do you have any minimums? We understand that some assignments may be bigger or smaller than others, and you may not need us everyday. For the days you do need us, we have a minimum assignment of 5 hours to make the time equitable for our caregivers. Thanks for understanding. |

My loved one is in a nursing home. Why do I need a caregiver? We are sure that you made the right decision when choosing the facility for the one you love. While not all nursing homes result in theft, negligence and complete horror, the truth is many facilities are understaffed and over capacity, leaving your loved one lost in the shuffle. Depending on the level of care they need, this could be devastating to their development. Our focus is 100% on you and your family. Many find a "backup" or "overseer" advantageous for the peace of mind they receive in return. I don't have an aging parent, but my husband/wife/sister/etc is having surgery and will need assistance for a few days/weeks. Even after a hospitalization or health scare you still have to deal with your day to day responsibilities, e.g., the kids, work and getting food on the table. One more thing can be overwhelming. We don't care if the assignment is two days, two weeks, or two years, or if our patient is 99 or 19 years old. We're here to help. My parent is pretty independent but can't drive, or likes to travel and I don't want them to be alone. Our first focus is always our companionship services. We want to make sure you are comfortable welcoming us into your family. If you don't need us for the day to day, think of us as an old friend going on a trip together, or giving you a ride to the doctors office.
