Several of the Heavenly Companionship staff cared for my sister-in-law towards the end of her battle with melanoma. From a strictly clinical perspective, their care was exemplary, but the emotional support they provided is their greatest attribute...both to my sister-in-law and our family. They treat each of their client's like family. Kim is dedicated to making sure each feels loved and cared for. She is also very thorough and diligent about keeping the family informed. The Heavenly Companionship care is one of a kind. They never left my sister-in-law's side as the end of her life was eminent. They were there providing comfort until the very end. Kim Little has taken care of some very special people in my life...a lifelong friend and mentor, a great Aunt, a dear friend and the father of another close friend. Yes, Kim is a caregiver…to the patient and the entire family and circle of friends. Kim has a very special quality to hold everyone together during extremely difficult and emotional times. I referred Kim to three of the cases listed, because I believe in her quality of care, her values and her ability to continue life for those who are sick or elderly. Kim ensures that her patient’s live life as fully as possible, every single day. "I feel like she is part of my family" Occasionally when our life runs into the very rough spots, and we or our loved ones need help, an unexpected blessing comes along at just the right time. That blessing came to me in the form of an angel named Kim. My mother's last two years of life were filled with one health issue after another. As I am an only child, I spent much time taking care of her, seeing about her medications, her medical care, her happiness, and her shopping needs at her assisted care facility. One of my mother's best friends was at the care facility too. The friend's helper and care taker seemed to always be there for her. I began to get to know Kim and realized how valuable she was to my mom's friend. I knew I needed someone just like her to help me. I hired Kim and immediately felt the stress and pressure decrease for me. Kim was extremely reliable and extremely competent as a caretaker, but more than that, Kim became a friend and then just like my sister. I continued to ask Kim for more of her time because she made my mom very happy when I couldn't be there. Kim was always there when she said she would be. She went above and beyond to do all she could to make my mother happy and comfortable. Kim took the best care of my mom, laughed with my mom, carried on conversations about grandkids and family while looking at my mom's photo album and so much more. When I had to go out of town, I knew Kim would be there. I can't say enough about Kim's love, concern, and skill as a caretaker. She was my blessing as well as my mom's. I would very much recommend Kim Little to anyone who needs help with a loved one. Kim has the heart and understanding of the needs of those who need help. She was a priceless help to me and my mother, and now even two years since my mom's passing, Kim and I keep up with each other and always will. "...she took on whatever needed to be done whether it was in her job description or not." Kimberlee Little was the companion/caretaker for my mother, Nita Braun, for the last few years of her life. Mother's quality of life was improved just by having Kimberlee around. Since I live in New York and Mother lived in Dallas, I was always nervous that she was not well or being cared for properly until I hired Kimberlee to be with her. Not only was Kimberlee good company for my mother, she took on whatever needed to be done whether it was in her job description or not. She was my eyes and ears and let me know immediately if something was not right. Kimberlee was very reliable and always there when needed. Kimberlee cared for my mother as if she was her mother.
